Technician verification at Voltifi

What technician verification means

Voltifi uses an account and document review process before technicians can access jobs. A technician supplies profile information and uploads documents for review. The account must have an approved verification status to access technician jobs through the app.

For drivers, an approved account means the technician has been approved to use that part of Voltifi. It is not a separate professional qualification or a certification of every service a technician may offer.

Information supplied during onboarding

Vehicle and services

The technician enters service-vehicle details and selects the work they offer. They can also add a note about the tyres they carry.

Working area

The profile includes a home postcode and preferred coverage radius. These describe the technician’s working preferences, rather than a guarantee of availability for every request.

Documents requested

  • Driving licence
  • Photo ID, such as a passport or identity card
  • Insurance certificate

Technicians upload clear photographs or scans through onboarding. The files and profile information are supplied by the technician for Voltifi’s review.

Submission, review and approval

An uploaded document is marked pending. The review process records approval or rejection for the submitted documents and supports a decision on the technician’s overall account status.

If a document is rejected, the app can show the reason so the technician can address it and submit an updated document. Submitting files does not itself approve the account, and this website does not promise a fixed review time.

Once the account is approved, the technician can access available jobs and manage accepted work. Approval does not guarantee that work is available or that every job is suitable for that technician’s equipment.

Understanding the limits of the process

Document review is based on the material supplied for the account. The verification label should not be read as confirmation that every detail has been independently authenticated with the issuing organisation.

For a particular job, confirm the work, vehicle requirements and any relevant qualifications or insurance details with the technician before accepting. If you have a concern about a technician account, email support@voltifi.co.uk and include the booking reference where available.
